From 19th to 23rd October, João Vilaça, FORAVE`s Executive
Director attended the course "Evaluation
and Quality Assurance in education and training" at IDEC S.A., in Piraeus, Greece.
The main aim of the course was to provide the
necessary skills and competencies to managing, administrating and teaching
staff of schools, so as to ensure the quality and the effective evaluation of
education at all levels, providing insight at the developments at European
level as well as at quality assurance and evaluation methodologies applied in
education.
João Vilaça considered this experience as an
extremely positive one as he had the opportunity
to improve the practical knowledge and the skills regarding procedures that must
be followed in the process of implementing a quality assurance system applied
to a vocational education institution.
