Valentine's Day at FORAVE

Last Thursday our school organised a St. Valentine’s event which included a theatre play and a delicious Five o’clock tea.
“Romeo and Juliet”, Shakespeare’s most famous play, was updated and set in our modern-day village of Lousado. The students re-wrote the dialogues and the sets were done in their vocational school subjects.
Our students´ impressive performance was followed by a tea, served by the first year classes in the schoolyard and there the main stars were the delicious scones especially made by the students for the occasion.

Students' presentations

We think Harri´s idea of writing a blog is nice …and inspiring.
That’s why we have decided to have one too!

Our Comenius work group is bigger than the Finnish one. We are working with five classes… 39 girls and 66 boys! All the students are eager to meet the partner students and to have you visiting our school.

Here are their presentations.

Now, this is the part we talk about the wonders (more than seven) we have in our country: the warm and welcoming people, the beautiful green landscapes, the white beaches, the majestic monuments, the delightful typical food, the modern cities, and ... the weather!

Yes, dear partners… it’s January, but the sun is shining and the temperature reaches 17º C!

Here are some sunny pictures to light up your dark days!

Greetings to you all.
